Probably one of the most commonly asked cosmetics questions is how to execute the perfectly smoked eye. I for one have my own technique that has taken years to learn, involves about 6 or 7 different products and quite frankly is not that good. So for those of us who are in the beginning stages of make-up artistry, this L'Oreal Wear Infinite Studio Secrets Eye Shadow Quad in Smokey Eyes will come in handy.

If you look closely at the image, you will see each shadow has a tiny little number printed in the inner corner. This is your road map to a smokey eye that is well-blended and perfectly shaded. On the back of the case you have step-by-step instructions, complete with images, on how to achieve the look. You can adjust the depth of each color for either a more subtle eye or a va-va-voom evening eye. It's your call.
Although I don't personally own this product, I did receive it on a referral from an objective source who does. L'Oreal claims this shadow to be "velvety-soft, silky smooth, super blendable, crease-proof and fade resistant." Perfect for those nights out when you may not have the luxury of a touch-up. My source agrees with L'Oreal's claims.
So if you have yet to capture the illusive smokey eye, I recommend picking-up this quad for the instructions alone. When you master the technique, perhaps consider the upgrade to Mr. Dior.
And I am sure there are those of you out there who have no interest in a smokey eye, L'Oreal offers this same quad in 8 different colors stories. I think the Canyon Stone looks intriguing.
